From corporate media & a hunt scum forum
In a rare moment of justice in the human onslaught against our wild cousins, a ‘professional’ elephant hunter, known affectionately in hunting circles as ‘Gibbo’, got trampled to death by his intended victim on Wednesday. Gibbo was guiding a hunt towards the elephant, but the bull was in musth and charged at him instead.
Gibbo was working for Chifuti Safaris, a company which runs hunting ‘safaris’ in Zimbabwe for rich tourists. For as little as £1236 per day, they can hunt buffalos, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, leopards, lions and ‘plains game’.
Sincere condolences to Gibbo’s family for being related to him.
